Visionary leadership: God's Supermen And Women By Iyke Nwambie

One of the golden ideas every leader must conceive in the school of advancement is the idea of Visionary leadership. Visionary leadership is the capacity to see the future from your present standpoint in the exact way it should be. It is the ability to engage the tool of in-sight to see that future with the eyes of faith. Kindly take note of the fact that I have taken the liberty to hyphenate the word 'in-sight' in order to emphasize it's difference from the word 'out-sight.'
Leadership researchers show that the top 10 percent of the leaders in every field are men and women who have demonstrated the working knowledge of in-sight. Paul the great spiritual leader to the Gentile nations understood the place of this ability so much that he penned down this prayer point:
"I pray that the 'eyes of your understanding' may be enlightened to know the hope of your calling...(Ephesians 1:18a)."
The great American civil rights leader, Dr. Martin Luther King junior applied the nugget of insight when he said,
"I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
The great business leader and current richest man in the world, Mr. Bill Gates showed that he applied the timeless truth of visionary leadership anchored on in-sight with these words:
“When Paul Allen and I started Microsoft over 30 years ago, we had big dreams about software,” recalls Gates. “We had dreams about the impact it could have. We talked about a computer on every desk and in every home. It’s been amazing to see so much of that dream become a reality and touch so many lives."
Political leaders like Abraham Lincoln, Ronald Reagan, Winston Churchill, etc have also demonstrated this ability in different ways. But beyond the ability to see an ideal picture from within, is the need to engage the next step in the cycle of advancement.
And that next step is to begin to decree what you have seen into existence. The Bible character, Job, under the influence of the Holy ghost itemized it as one of the golden rules of advancement with this admonition:
" Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways (Job 22:28)."
My dear reader, it is time to engage the strategy of decreeing a thing in your own life, it is time to begin to decree the promises of God and not the problems you face in your own life, it is time you begin to decree what you want to happen to whatever mountain you are currently facing instead of talking about the mountain to every ear that cares to listen, it is time you begin to see and decree what the eyes of your faith are seeing instead of what your physical eyes are seeing, it is time you begin to decree the words of God and not the works of the devil.
For when we engage the visionary ability of in-sight and mingle it with the daring force of divine decrees and declarations, we become God's supermen and women on the earth, we manifest visionary leadership in our own lives and ministries, we cheaply disarm the works of the enemy, we ride on the prophetic platform of truth in grand style, we glide on the prophetic wings of God with joy to establish the wonder-works of Kingdom advancement in our lives...May that be your own story... For the seed of something special is in you. The seed of advancement is in you. And that seed is growing day-by-day.
